Great response on the presentation of the new Yamaha Pacifica guitars PDF
Vijesti - Events

On the 20th and 21st of February 2012. we organized presentation of new Yamaha guitars from series of Pacifica and new THR amps. Presentations were held in Cakovec at our conference room, and multimedia presentation was conduct by our employee Nino Benkovic.

First day of presentation was reserved for students of high schools and day 2 was public day for all interested. Presentation consisted of lecture, videos, slides, and all products were presented so it was possible to see them and test them.

New model of Yamaha Pacifica guitars; 611HFM, 510V and 120H with their innovative solutions of pickups, vintage look, and top build quality and most of all with great sound that is easy to control on the guitar was delightful to all present. New models of Yamaha guitars set again new and high criteria in this line of electric guitars how with looks and like that with sound which override its price range. Yamaha Pacifica 611HFM and 510V are guitars that you can easy exchange for custom models because they look like customs and sounds like custom products when you take them out of box.

Yamaha THR amps are new concept made and build in Yamaha. THR5 and THR10 are minded as „third“amp for guitar players. First is off course amp for live performance (big and loud), second one is for studios and smaller gigs (combo or similar) when THR takes roll as amp for everywhere and home amp. So what’s the catch? Small compact design, VCM technology for making emulation of sounds from tube amps and to mention built in HiFi speakers, basic efx, audio input for practice (MP3, phone, CD…) and USB connection for free Cubase software makes this amp to great interface for recording guitars. Power supply through batteries makes this amps work everywhere you want and with autonomy up to 6hours!

After presentation visitors also tested presented instruments and equipment, ask questions, and on the way out we prepared small gifts for them.

We invite all visitors to come in the nearest Euro-Unit center and test by yourself new products from our wealthy offer.

Brighouse & Rastrick led by David King Retains Their Crown PDF
Vijesti - Events

The culmination of the 100th National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain took place on October 15th

in London’s World famous Royal Albert Hall. Defending champions Brighouse & Rastrick (B&R) conducted by Yamaha development artist David King magnificently performed this year’s test piece – Breath of Souls by Paul Lovatt‐Cooper taking the band to their second consecutive win of this prestigious title.

Yamaha instruments including nine Xeno B♭cornets, a Xeno Soprano Cornet, two Neo BB♭Basses, an E♭Bass and two Xeno B♭/F trombones played a huge part in helping B&R achieve this historic win. B&R, along with the 19 other competing bands also used the concert percussion instruments supplied by Yamaha as part of the sponsorship of the Championships. In total, three Yamaha development artists were involved in Brighouse & Rastrick’s winning performance, with David King conducting, Simon Gresswell on principal BB♭Bass and also Euphonium artist Steve Walsh making his competitive debut as Principal Eb Bass. Other success in the competition for Yamaha artists included a close second place for the Fairey band, conducted by Yamaha Cornet artist Russell Gray. Their performance was contributed to by Yamaha development artist Katrina Marzella as Principal Baritone. Also in the prizes was the Carlton Main Frickley Band conducted by Yamaha cornet artist Phillip McCann. Finishing in 6th place, many felt that their performance should have been rewarded with a top three finish. After all the excitement of the National Brass Band Championships, we now look forward to the Brass in Concert Championships in association with Yamaha and the British Bandsman, held in November at the magnificent Sage Concert Hall in Gateshead!.
